Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By booking a service through Health Doc Diagnostics, operated by Dr. Marlo P. Maamo, General Practitioner (PRC License No. 0086762), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Nature of Services

We offer online and face-to-face medical consultations, house visits, medical documentation (certificates, prescriptions, lab referrals), and related services within Cebu City. Online consultations are best suited to non-emergency, follow-up, and administrative needs. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, go to the nearest emergency room or call emergency services immediately — do not rely on this platform.

3. Booking, Payment & Cancellation

• Appointments are confirmed only after successful payment (GCash, or bank transfer where enabled) or when pay-on-arrival is explicitly offered for a service.
• Please contact us as early as possible to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
• Repeated no-shows may affect your ability to book future appointments.
• Pricing shown at the time of booking is the price you pay — we do not add hidden charges.

4. Medical Documents

All medical certificates, prescriptions, and other documents are drafted only after a consultation and require Dr. Maamo's explicit review and approval before they are issued. No document is generated or delivered automatically without this approval. S2 (controlled medication) prescriptions are issued strictly in accordance with PDEA and DOH regulations.

5. AI-Assisted Features

Where available, our online assistant helps with administrative tasks — such as identifying the right service or answering general questions from our FAQ. It does not diagnose conditions, interpret symptoms, or interpret lab results. Any medical assessment is made solely by Dr. Maamo.

6. Limitation of Liability

While we strive to provide accurate, timely, and professional medical services, Health Doc Diagnostics and Dr. Maamo shall not be liable for outcomes arising from incomplete or inaccurate information provided by a patient, delays caused by technical issues outside our control, or use of the platform for emergencies it is not designed to handle.

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of Cebu City.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
